POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Tuning & Sales Management Team, the Tuning Support Tech I performs various duties within the Tuning Support Division of the Sales Department. This position is essential in directing consumers to the best aftermarket parts for their vehicle and associated tuning needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of previous Customer Service experience.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to maintain attendance as defined by company policy.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and use tact when dealing with difficult customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Upon hire, successful completion of the Turn5 tuning new hire training program.
- Ability to maintain attendance as defined by company policy.
- Proficiency in computer keyboarding and internet skills -i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Must have or have the ability to acquire automotive knowledge in all supported vehicles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Have a reliable PC and sufficient internet speed to be effective in the role and meet expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles communication via calls, text messages, emails, and online chats from customers interested in tuner and/or corresponding aftermarket accessories.
- Makes outbound calls to existing customers for account updates and follow up information when needed.
- Answers customer emails in a timely & professional manner.
- Uses excitement & product knowledge to answer questions & educate the customer, providing purchasing suggestions as necessary for corresponding or needed modifications.
- Efficiently enters and processes orders/tunes, returns and customer inquiries (ESD updates, cancellations, etc.).
- Displays a professional, courteous demeanor towards customers while providing prompt, efficient service for all inquiries.
- Writes custom tunes based on customer information provided, as well as being able to assist customers with loading tunes to a device and to a vehicle.
- Notifies leadership of trends or problems encountered.
- Meets performance expectations of the position regarding customer service quality, customer contacts, etc.
- Participates in product and equipment training as assigned.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned by management.
