Reporting to the Area Manager II, Inbound & Facilities, the Facilities Technician Level I will assist with the day-to-day fulfillment building operations and upkeep. These tasks include, but are not limited to, completion of facilities tickets, forklift maintenance, conveyor maintenance, general repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Year 1 is going to be about:

  • Complete facilities tickets as assigned, meeting the established KPI’s
  • Preform general building upkeep, repair, and installation for areas including but not limited to preventative maintenance, forklifts, conveyors, bailers, racking, air compressors, & workstations.
  • Assist with building projects, repairs, and maintenance
  • Ownership of Facilities area including facilities area, building cleanliness, Facilities van, and facilities tools/equipment
  • Work with standard 110/120v electrical units. May be asked to move outlets, work in panels, install/move conduit.
  • All other duties as assigned

We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful. So, we need you to have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certificate (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding, etc.) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of compressors and compressed air lines
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics
  • Possess knowledge of AC and DC electricity, including resistance, volts, watts
  • Possess strong prioritization skills and be able to make decisions independently
  • Possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to oversee the timely completion of multiple tasks daily
  • Basic understanding of Lock Out Tag Out & energy control procedures
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to operate power equipment e.g. Reach truck, electric pallet jack, order pickers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of standard building codes and safety regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
