Reporting to the Director, HR, the Talent Acquisition & HR Intern will be responsible for partnering with the Talent Acquisition Specialist on full-cycle recruitment for the Contact Center and Fulfillment Center, ensuring hiring needs are being met in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Post current openings and refresh job postings to ensure a constant stream of candidate flow
  • Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications
  • Schedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviews
  • Follow up with candidates timely regarding recruiting status; Utilize Applicant Tracking System to fullest potential
  • Completion of new hire paperwork process and onboarding
  • Identify and attend local career fairs, community and college events, media opportunities, etc., to attract applicants. 
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialist to find additional avenues or ways to attract people to open positions
  • Prepare offer letters, schedule drug screens, correspond with hires regarding onboarding process
  • Perform virtual and in person new hire orientation
  • Assist Talent & HR Specialist with various administrative tasks
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

 

Specific Job Knowledge:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and pipeline development
  • Intermediate to advanced interviewing skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ year experience or in corporate recruiting, agency recruiting or HR related field preferred
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree or currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree preferred
