Reach & Box Truck Operator - $17/hr

For a company that distributes after-market auto-parts,the Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing fulfillment processing including unloading inbound trailers and containers, receiving purchase orders, putting product away to appropriate locations, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and driving necessary powered equipment to execute daily tasks. This Warehouse Associate will regularly utilize Turn5’s warehouse management software and is expected to communicate with our video, photo, and fulfillment teams to track incoming and outgoing product. This role will rely heavily on attention to detail and the ability to multitask between a variety of tasks on a daily basis. 

• Receive, organize, and put away inbound product to the proper locations
• Pick, pack, and ship outbound orders – repackaging product when necessary
• Operate a forklift and reach truck
• Utilize warehouse management system and RF scanner technology to execute receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counts.
• Work with video and photo teams to receive and put away product. Updating and maintaining all inventory tracking and production sheets.
• Drive company box truck between different locations as needed
• Conduct cycle counts
• Oversee inventory areas and ensure they are continually organized and clean, in a safe and accessible manner.
• Receive external deliveries from carriers and distribute accordingly including vinyl department deliveries and employee ordered deliveries.

Key Role Requirements

• Proficient in warehouse management systems and RF gun functionality
• Ability to operate power equipment e.g. Reach truck, electric pallet jack, order pickers, etc.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to think outside of the box
• Ability to effectively problem solve in both individual and team environments
• Ability to positively lead a team when necessary. There may be occasions where you will need to lead people for large scale inventory projects
• Maintain all safety standards of our warehouse including training certifications, fire lane access and all other safety requirements
• Ability to multitask between a variety of tasks and assisting other departments as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by manager
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated initiative is necessary

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse environment is required. A senior or leadership role in a warehouse role is a plus.
