The QA Manager will manage our Quality Assurance team and will test current/future initiatives on several of our E-Commerce websites and mobile applications.  This position will require hands-on skills to build/maintain our automation platform, execute manual testing, and continuously address the needs of the sprint team from an automation/manual standpoint.  This position reports directly to the Director of E-Commerce Development.


  • Mentor and manage the QA staff to evolve and succeed.
  • Provide leadership in defining QA methodologies, strategies, standards, tools, and best practices for support and releases.
  • Define testing and test automation coding standards, oversight of their implementation, and promoting continuous improvement through periodic reviews.
  • Work with Development and Product Management for resource planning and to make sure acceptance criteria is well delivered.
  • Help prioritize, organize, and execute recurring manual testing during software development.
  • Assist in documentation of processes and systems where necessary.
  • Monitor support and bug queue to make sure they are getting documented and prioritized correctly.
  • Create/execute Test Case Management platform and ensure its success.
  • Effectively scale the QA team to support the needs of the business.


  • Minimum of 7 years of QA experience testing interactive websites
  • At least 3 years managing QA Analysts
  • Hands on experience working on QA Automation
  • Experience in a fast-paced E-Commerce environment is strongly preferred
  • Web Browsers (Chrome, Safari)
  • Mobile devices (iPhones, Android devices, etc.)
  • SQL Server skills for querying during data validation
  • Experience with Issue Tracking systems (Jira preferred)
  • Test Case Management (Xray preferred)
  • Knowledge of the following technologies is required:
  • CSS, JavaScript, HTML
  • Selenium
  • C#/.NET
  • Continuous Integration suites (TeamCity/Bamboo preferred)
  • Experience with QA in an Agile environment (Agile/Scrum certification a plus)
  • Experience with designing and building QA automation, leveraging QA Test Case Management software, and other QA tools.
  • Ability to manage remote on/off shore and internal resources
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to our high volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to think through situations critically and logically
  • Detail oriented and thorough
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business-minded individuals/teams
  • Able to balance business value and risk analysis with prioritization and direction
  • Ability to be hands-on when necessary and mentor the team appropriately
