Under the direction of the Video Floor Manager for Turn5, the Video Host is responsible for writing engaging and informative product overviews for Turn5’s stores, installation of aftermarket parts on company & customer vehicles and for hosting product review videos across all brands. Work to maximize production through product installation research, physical installation, studio organization/cleanliness, unboxing and re-boxing, and communication with various members in our photo/video production areas. A Video Host must be responsible, courteous, a good listener, have strong on camera presence, experience to script for all types of video content and ready to problem solve each day to keep our fast-paced production moving.

 

This position requires a vast knowledge with installs for parts ranging from appearance to performance (exhaust, suspension, etc.). Install of parts will be focused on Trucks, Muscle Cars and Wranglers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Research current and new products for scripting, to ensure all information is presented correctly and accurately to customers in the videos
  • Responsible for scheduling priority product content, reservation of vehicles and assignment of videographers for shoots
  • Ability to learn the script requirements for all video types to Turn 5 video standards
  • Ability to interview others on camera while successfully delivering on the correct message
  • Responsible for real-time production and progress tracking, as well as end of day submissions
  • Learn and develop the skills to work with a videographer, in the host pods without a videographer, or on location with GoPros (interview & beauty)
  • Responsible for installation of various aftermarket parts ranging from appearance to performance on company and customer vehicles
  • Able to correctly identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during installs, and take appropriate actions to complete installs in a timely fashion
  • Clean & prepare vehicles & sets for video, repackage and assist with inventory back to the warehouse
  • Utilize Powerhouse to systematically and physically move inventory through the studios.
  • Responsible for utilizing smartsheets for scripting, assignments, and product movement.
  • Understands and deals with business situations in a mature and professional manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome.
  • Able to partner with outside resources, when asked, to improve Turn5 relationships and information presented in videos.
  • Attend all public events deemed necessary by your manager
  • Interact with customers via Turn5 social platforms and at public events

Qualifications

  • College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the video/television field as On-Air Talent.
  • Capable of writing scripts both product driven and for social content (covering events, company marketing, etc.).
  • Must have extensive vehicle knowledge in muscle cars, trucks, & Wranglers and aftermarket product knowledge
  • Capable of writing scripts both products and for social content (covering events, company marketing, etc.) that deliver on Turn5 video standards.
  • General knowledge of Video Production (producing, lighting, cameras) in required.
  • Knowledge of video editing platforms (Final Cut 7, Premiere) a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel (may include weekends) for events being covered by Turn 5.
  • Understanding of Social Marketing (Facebook, YouTube, etc.) a plus.
  • Able to work past expected hours when necessary.
  • Intermediate experience with Word and Excel.
