Paint Booth Post-Paint Technician – Get in on the ground floor!

 

Prior painting, detailing, or body-shop experience perferred. No experience? We’ll teach you the tricks of the trade and train you from the ground up. Yup, you read that right. If you have a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, we’ll train you to become a paint expert. You’ll have access to our career path program that will keep you learning and growing and our rewards program! Well, we’re pretty sure it will keep you around for the long haul.

 

With a set schedule Monday - Thursday, we are excited to boast a three-day weekend for this role along with competitive pay and full benefits, including medical insurance, paid time off, parts discounts, and more! Role starts at $15.50 an hour.

To continue our growth path, we are looking for a high energy, detail focused individual to join our Paint Team.  This team of craftsmen take great pride in delivering flawlessly painted auto parts that fulfill customer dreams.  Imagine taking a Mustang hood scoop, fender or spoiler and creating a custom matched accent that turns what was once a vehicle into a unique, custom ride.

Here’s what you could learn early in your first year (and its just the beginning!)

  • Prepping, wet sanding, and buffing aftermarket parts
  • Locating and wet sanding nibs out of clear coat
  • Keeping finished product clean and organized
  • Meet daily production goals as set by the direct Lead/Supervisor (Production Goals are subject to change Quarterly)
  • Maintain detailed log of individual production numbers by recording completed work by SKU, part description, category, etc.
  • Properly label any/all finished product with the correct wet sand and/or buff employee number
  • Daily equipment maintenance
  • Daily Warehouse maintenance
  • Ability to work and communicate within a team-based atmosphere
  • Safe operation of material handling equipment
  • Abide by all Turn5 and OSHA safety standards and protocols

Once you master this, you could have the opportunity to be trained in Automotive Aftermarket Part Painting (and make some more cash along the way!)

Ready to get in on this ground floor opportunity? Cool. You’ll need: 

 

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To be hardworking, flexible and focused with the ability to multi-task.
  • To be able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Visual and hearing capability.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to maintain attendance as defined by company policy.
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment i.e. fax machine, photocopier, computer printer stationed between 3 & 4 feet high.
  • Ability to bend/stoop/crouch/climb/crawl as needed
  • Ability to push & pull items weighing up to 60lbs
  • Ability to lift & lower items weighing up to 60lbs
  • Ability to remain standing upright on feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions within assigned duty, including, but not limited to the hands, wrists, fingers, back
  • Ability to walk about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another
  • Ability to tolerate dramatic temperature changes
