    To continue our growth path, we need an Associate General Manager for our fulfillment center in Malvern, PA. This is a critical leadership role, so we need someone who has “been there and done that” as it relates to directing the overall warehousing, shipping, and transportation activities to meet the expectations of our customer. 

     

    You will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically across all fulfillment activities.  One minute you might be recommending process improvements to senior executives, the next minute evaluating KPI’s to manage performance, and the next minute managing relationships with outside vendors to achieve the best relationship of price and performance. Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    Year 1 is going to be about:

    • Developing long-term and short-term functional operating plans (goals, objectives, action plans, and budgets), and controlling functional resources to advance fulfillment operations for Turn5
    • Recruiting, training, and developing staff to build an effective and stable organization
    • Designing, implementing and constantly improving the inbound and outbound processes to optimize throughput, minimize cost, and satisfy customer demand.
    • Identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement of scalable fulfillment operations

    Qualifications

    We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have:

    • 4-6 years of progressive experience managing a B2C fulfillment operation (e-commerce highly preferred)
    • Superior leadership, management, and interpersonal skills with a focus on developing and training staff to meet business demands
    • Proven track record of identifying opportunities for process improvement
