    To continue our growth path, we need a QA Manager to take ownership of the testing on our multiple E-Commerce websites and mobile apps and provide leadership to our Automation/QA team. Our methods are collaborative, our group is inclusive, and our minds are exploratory. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision to the team while not being afraid to roll-up their sleeves and jump right in.

     

    You will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically across the entire enterprise. One minute you might be identifying the scope and risk of issues found and informing the necessary stakeholders of the perceived urgency of the issue, the next minute defining testing practices, and the next leading the test automation development and architecture.

    Responsibilities

    Year 1 is going to be about:

    • Providing leadership in defining QA methodologies, strategies, standards, tools, best practices for support and releases
    • Defining testing and test automation coding norms, oversight of their implementation, and promoting continuous improvement through periodic reviews.
    • Working cross-functionally with Development and Product Management teams for resources planning and to make sure acceptance criteria is well delivered.
    • Partnering with the team to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test solutions
    • Prioritizing, organizing and executing recurring manual testing during software development

    Qualifications

    We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have:

    • Minimum of 7 years of QA experience testing interactive websites and 3+ years in a management setting.
    • Hands on experience working on QA Automation
    • Experience in a fast-paced E-Commerce environment is strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of the following technologies is required: CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Selenium, C#/.NET, Continuous Integration suites (Jenkins/TeamCity/Bamboo)
    • Experience with:
    • Web Browsers (Chrome, Safari)
    • Mobile devices (iPhones, Android devices, etc.)
    • SQL Server skills for querying during data validation
    • Experience with Ticketing systems (such as Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
    • Test case management
