    We have just recently launched our newest (and largest!) fulfillment center in Lenexa, KS and as we prepare to start shipping out of this facility, we need top talent to be a part of our newest endeavor. To continue our growth path, we are looking for experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our team. 

     

    The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Inventory Control department across three to four fulfillment centers in areas of responsibility including the company’s cycle counting and inventory audit program, scheduling employees, quality, accountability, safety and sanitation.

    Responsibilities

    Year 1 is going to be about:

     

    • Ensure all inventory cycle counting and physical inventories are coordinated as defined
    • Develop and refine warehouse(s) cycle counting and overall annual audit plan specific to the company’s facilities and merchandising and organizational strategy.
    • Develop and implement weekly and monthly cycle counting and process review reporting for senior management
    • Coordinate regular communication with Fulfillment and Finance management to discuss findings and recommendations
    • Perform comparative analysis of results against prior periods, agreed upon targets, and industry benchmarks
    • Coordinate with Continuous Improvement Team to continuously improve the inventory flow and accuracy across the fulfillment centers and maintain warehouse policies and procedures.
    • Manage the team ensuring effective selection, retention, development, performance management and disciplinary action of Inventory Control Staff.
    • Monitors department and individual KPI’s to ensure productivity goals are met.  Work with employees to improve performance as needed.

    Qualifications

    We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have: 

     

    • Undergraduate degree in business or related field
    • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in a related environment.
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
    • Computer proficient with WMS software along with RF device applications
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Experience working in high volume high SKU E-commerce Fulfillment or Warehousing Center environment
    • Ability to write reports, and business correspondence.
    • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
