    To continue our growth path, we need a Human Resources Business Partner in our new Lenexa, KS distribution center to deliver a wide range of HR services ranging from employee onboarding, and employee relations all the way through to employee engagement, policy implementation and performance management.  This is a high impact role in our brand-new facility where our daily objectives emphasize obtaining company quality and productivity standards. 


    You will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically across all people operations.  One minute you might be hosting a career fair to bring in new talent, the next minute creating and implementing training programs, and the next minute completing the necessary paperwork and enrollment for new hires.  Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.


    Year 1 is going to be about:


    • Handling employee relations, investigations, counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
    • Participating in developing operational department goals, objectives and systems
    • Recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt roles. Building a strategic pipeline utilizing community engagement, career fairs and networking with local colleges and universities.
    • Analyzing staffing trends and metrics to ensure hiring needs are being met in real time.
    • Maintaining human resource information system (ADP) records and report and track people analytics to inform and make decisions.


    We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have: 


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field; HR Certifications Preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR)
    • 4-8 years of related business experience
    • Strong understanding of recruitment and pipeline development
    • Strong understanding of benefits and FMLA
    • Strong problem-solving skills; logical and analytical thinker, comfortable with data and analytics
