    To continue our growth path, we need a Systems Administrator to provision, install/configure, maintain and monitor all mission critical systems at Turn5. In this position, you will be the escalation point for more complicated Help Desk tickets, as well as providing mentoring to others on the team.


    You will be challenged to work both efficiently and strategically across all operations of the business. One minute you might be assessing our current infrastructure for storage unit upgrades and the next minute working across the organization to prepare and implement system enhancements for future growth. Regardless of the task, its critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.


    Year 1 is going to be about:

    • Install, configure, and manage Virtual Servers, VOIP phone system, applications (including but not limited to)
      • Office 365 / Exchange Online
      • Shoretel / Mitel Phones / Phone System
      • Virtual Machine backup, Antivirus, Storage Arrays.
      • Mobile Device Management
      • Active Directory / Group Policy / Permissions
    • Perform regular backups of all systems in an appropriate format and frequency for the type of information
    • Establishing and monitoring service level targets for system uptime & performance and measure actuals against those targets
    • Collaborating with the IT support team on implementing planned & emergency changes to server & network configurations, coordinating with 3rd parties and scheduling the work for minimal disruption as appropriate for the severity and impact of the change
    • Recommending changes or enhancements in available equipment, technologies, or 3rd party services to improve overall quality & reliability


    We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful. So, we need you to have:

    • 3+ Years – IT End-User Support
    • 3+ Years – Server/Systems Support
    • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure (MS Exchange, Office 365, MS SQL Azure)
    • Storage, backup/archive best practices
    • Basic networking experience in a Cisco environment is a plus
