  • Overview

Turn5 is one of the largest and fastest growing e-commerce retailers in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Best known for our award-winning e-commerce platforms, AmericanMuscle.com, ExtremeTerrain.com and AmericanTrucks.com, we’ve been engaging car enthusiasts with exceptional products, services, and experiences since 2004.

Our purpose, however, extends beyond selling car parts. We have a commitment to creating meaningful customer experiences at every step of their journey. Whether it’s supplying a unique product that customizes the look and feel of their ride, providing thousands of educational videos for the DIYer or leveraging user generated content to inspire even the most experienced owner, we are obsessed with ensuring we reach as many like-minded gearheads across the globe.

To continue our growth path, we need a Content Manager to develop best in class aftermarket automotive content to help our enthusiasts understand their vehicles, their upgrades, and the types of products that are available all while inspiring them on their modification journey.

You will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically with a diverse team of internal and external partners to deliver a game changing strategy. One minute you might be defining and delivering top-notch, user-friendly content to drive traffic from search engines, the next working with our freelance writers to develop buyer how-to guides, and the next minute collaborating with our CMO and SEO agency to guide our overall SEO content strategy. Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

Year 1 is going to be about:

    • Developing and executing an SEO focused content strategy that results in increased in traffic from search engines
    • Working with our inhouse social media and video teams to identify frequently searched topics to produce proactive content relevant to our audience
    • Working with external freelancers to create and edit various forms of content, ensuring consistency of voice and alignment with brands
    • Working with E-Commerce to integrate useful content into the customer shopping journey
    • Building and overseeing a scalable content workflow process, from research & ideation to editor assignments through to QA to publish for hundreds to thousands of pieces of content

We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have:

    • Minimum of 4 years of content marketing experience
    • Experience with Google Search Console and Google Keyword Planner
    • Strong project management and people management skills
    • Ability to analyze key metrics that lead to data driven decisions
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
