To continue our growth path, we need a Help Desk Specialist to provide the first line of hardware and software support to our employees. This person will join a collaborative team that works onsite at our locations setting up new users, problem solving technology issues and helping keep the day to day life of our employees running smoothly from a technology standpoint.

Responsibilities

Year 1 is going to be about:

 

  • Monitoring Help Desk ticketing system - providing technical assistance and support for user issues related to computers, software, and other IT-managed systems
  • Responding to user questions via chat, email, support ticket, phone, or in person
  • Asking questions to assess the scope and nature of the issue, resolving or escalating issues
  • Building, setting up and moving setting up computers, phones, peripherals, and other devices
  • Occasional local travel to other sites is required with reliable transportation

Qualifications

We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful. So, we need you to have:

 

  • 1 year of experience in a company setting
  • Computer proficient
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
