To continue our growth path, we need a 3D CAD Modeler who can deliver high quality 3D surface models from concept art for several private label brands. As a leader in the development of high performance automotive products, you will be tasked to tap into your creative juices to make decisions on final products and test your prototypes on vehicles in our product development lab for the latest generations of vehicles on the road today.


You will be challenged daily to work creatively and efficiently to create 3D CAD models across all our brands. One minute you might be contributing to the development of products for the latest generation of Jeep Wranglers, the next minute working with our development team to determine the right materials (metals, plastics) to use in the production process and the next minute watching your original designs fly off the shelves of our e-commerce stores and pop up at auto shows across the country. Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.



Year 1 is going to be about:

  • Taking approved product development concepts through the R&D process, ending in a final 3D model used for manufacturing
  • Rapid prototyping of designs using appropriate methods to ensure quality and fitment
  • Collaborating with product and merchandising teams to incorporate creative nuances into designs that our customers are looking for
  • Using your knowledge of the manufacturing process to deliver models that can be feasibly manufactured


We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Industrial Design or CAD
  • A portfolio of work that shows off your high level of ability in 3D modeling and surface modeling
  • Expert proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling software, surface modeling experience is a must
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver quality designs in fast paced environment
