To continue our growth path, our e-commerce team needs a Jr .NET Developer who is passionate about back-end development and eager to learn cutting edge and innovative development skills from our senior developers. We push the limits around here by embracing some of the most technical challenges to create user experiences that are unmatched, so you need to be ready to show us your chops, but fearless in diving into unchartered waters.


You will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically in an Agile environment to execute on current and future enhancements to our platforms. One minute you might be programming the business logic to better the communication between our user interface and SQL database and the next minute developing award winning custom applications that help a customer visualize their current vehicle and future modifications on the screen. Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work with diverse stakeholders across the organization.


Year 1 is going to be about:


  • Developing and supporting current and future e-commerce sites across multiple platforms (mobile, tablet, desktop), as well as, support third-party, and internal applications
  • Analyzing business needs and application requirements to determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraints
  • Collaborating across the team to quickly capture and understand requirements
  • Working across the SDLC from planning, estimating, documenting, developing, testing, and deploying
  • Working with the senior developers to enhance/learn new skills and experiences


We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.  So, we need you to have:


  • 1-2 years recent professional experience in related programming languages (C#, ASP.NET, MVC), preferably in an e-Commerce environment
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • C#, ASP.NET
    • MVC 4.0 or later
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
    • SQL Server is a plus
  • Experience with Visual Studio and using the debugger effectively
  • Experience with code commits and source control (GitHub is a plus)
  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work delivered
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excels in a collaborative environment, with solid written and verbal communication skills
